JAMIE DAVIS-CLAYTON CAMERON QUINTET featuring ANDY LANGHAM (piano), TREVOR WARE (bass), RICKEY WOODARD (saxophone)

We presented this band at our 2022 Bistango Sunset Jazz summer series and received many kudos so we are pleased to present an Encore appearance for all the many Count Basie, as well Jamie Davis fans! Vocalist Jamie Davis holds a position amongst the pantheon of great male vocalists with a compelling full baritone voice and a passion for his craft that leaves his audiences uplifted and feelin’ good…really good. With a repertoire from Cole Porter to Stevie Wonder, he has been described as a fine wine which has stood the test of time, constantly innovating jazz classics, ‘rolling out’ the blues and performing with one foot in the past and the other in ‘today’. Clayton Cameron has a dynamic career that has spanned almost four decades in the world of music. From Sammy Davis, Jr. to Tony Bennett, and even crossing into other genres with Neil Young. Returning to play piano will be Andy Langham, who tours all over the world as a member of the Grammy Award winning Poncho Sanchez Latin Jazz Band. Multi-Grammy nominated Trevor Ware is one of the most in-demand bassists in L.A and is currently playing with Count Basie Orchestra.
